Second Sundays was a proposed outdoor event series that was based in community collaboration amongst local merchants. The pitch focused on showcasing a potential look and feel that was reflective on the Lower East Side neighborhood and it's unique Sunday street closure stretching from Delancey to East Houston on Orchard Street. The friendly hand-drawn logo type was intended to frame the make-shift nature of the event. Supplemental colors were selected from New York City street signage and laid atop halftone imagery of street fairs in the area.
